Andy Straub is a seasoned entrepreneur and top-producing real estate professional based in West Michigan. Known for his leadership, integrity, and passion for helping others succeed, Andy has built a reputation for guiding clients, colleagues, and fellow business leaders toward meaningful growth and success.

Beyond his career, Andy is deeply committed to mentoring and community service. His journey started in local elementary schools, mentoring at-risk youth, and has grown into a lifelong mission to empower others. Since 2020, he’s volunteered with a camp that gives children in foster care a week filled with joy, belonging, and encouragement. In 2024, he took his advocacy even further by joining Kent County CASA, where he helps ensure that the voices of children in the court system are heard and respected.

Married for 27 years and a proud father of five, Andy believes that leadership starts at home and extends into every area of life. He values encouragement, accountability, and faith, and strives to model those principles in his work, family, and community involvement. His greatest passion is helping people see their potential and giving them the tools and confidence to thrive.

Dr. Shawn Beene brings nearly two decades of transformative leadership experience to A Vibrant Life, where his passion for mentorship drives every initiative. A proud graduate of North Central College with degrees in Business Management, International Business, and Marketing, and holding both an MBA and Doctorate in Education from Cornerstone University, Dr. Beene has built his career on a powerful belief: lasting change begins with empowered individuals and strong communities.
His journey—from serving in the United States Marine Corps to advancing through corporate leadership and nonprofit roles—has equipped him with unique insights into guiding others toward their full potential. At a local school, Dr. Beene developed a comprehensive leadership development program while connecting students with life-changing opportunities and securing vital funding for educational initiatives.
Dr. Beene’s extensive community involvement, including board positions with The PlaygroundGR, Grand Rapids Branch NAACP, and The Salvation Army of Kent County, reflects his commitment to creating ecosystems where mentorship thrives. He has witnessed firsthand how the right guidance at the right moment can redirect a life’s trajectory.
